Irish Pubs in Munich: Live Music and Karaoke
Irish Pubs are very popular in Munich, especially among expats. There are several Irish Pubs to choose from offering great Karaoke nights, Live Music, and typical Irish dishes and drinks such as fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, Guinness, and whiskey. Me and my international friends who live in Munich go often to Irish pubs and have a great time there.
Killians Irish Pub
Killians Irish Pub is well known in the Munich pub scene for different bands playing Live Music on its stage. They play Live Music 5 times a week, mostly Irish folk, pop, rock, rock ’n‘ roll, funk, and many other styles of music. The bigger more established bands usually play on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Tuesdays and Sundays are Karaoke nights starting from 9 pm. Come here under the week. The pub is very popular among expats and often gets very crowded.

The Old Irish
Irish Folk Pub or “the Old Irish” is the first Irish pub in Munich, opened in the 1970s and the oldest in Germany. The pub has an impressive selection of 130 Irish whiskeys and organizes monthly whiskey-tasting events. Traditional Live Irish Music is played every Tuesday by Irish musicians including big names such as the Dubliners and Rory Gallagher.
The Old Irish Pub is also home to Munich’s Dart Club, one of the oldest and the most successful Dart Clubs in Germany.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Molly Malone’s
Molly Malone’s is a small and cozy Irish Pub in Haidhausen, one of Munich’s coolest neighborhoods. The pub is famous for traditional Irish food and probably the best fish and chips in town. Moreover, it has a nice selection of Irish whiskeys, scotch, and beers. Great place to watch the Premier League in Munich.

Dubliner Irish Pub
Located opposite the Hofbrauhaus, the world’s famous beer garden, Dubliner Irish Pub serves typical Irish dishes and offers a good selection of Irish whiskeys, beers, and ciders, including Guinness, Helles, Kilkenny, and Strongbow.
